چکیده
Abstract The X-ray Photometer System (XPS) is one of four instruments onboard NASA’s Solar Radiation and Climate Experiment (SORCE) mission. SORCE spacecraft operated from 2003 to 2020 provide key climate-monitoring measurements total solar irradiance (TSI) spectral (SSI). XPS a set photometers measure the ultraviolet (XUV) shortward 34 nm bright hydrogen emission at 121.6 nm. Each photometer has bandpass about 7 nm, have an accuracy 20%. updates for final data-processing algorithms solar-irradiance data products are described. These processing include improvements instrumental corrections background signal, visible-light degradation trending. Validation these primarily with very similar instrument Thermosphere-Ionosphere-Mesosphere-Energetics-Dynamics (TIMED) In addition, Level 4 model been improved new reference spectra derived recent XUV observations Dynamics Observatory (SDO) Miniature Spectrometer (MinXSS) cubesat.

X-ray data processing
The method of molecular structure determination by X-ray crystallography is a little over a century old. The history is described briefly, along with developments in X-ray sources and detectors. The fundamental processes involved in measuring diffraction patterns on area detectors, i.e. autoindexing, refining crystal and detector parameters, integrating the reflections themselves and putting th...
متن کاملDosimetry of Occupational Radiation around Panoramic X-ray Apparatus
Background: Panoramic imaging is one of the most common imaging methods in dentistry. Regarding the side-effects of ionizing radiation, it is necessary to survey different aspects and details of panoramic imaging. In this study, we compared the absorbed x-ray dose around two panoramic x-ray units: PM 2002 CC Proline (Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland) and Cranex Tome (Soredex, Helsinki, Finland).<br ...

متن کاملThe Solar X-ray Limb
We describe a new technique to measure the height of the X-ray limb with observations from occulted X-ray flare sources as observed by the RHESSI (the Reuven Ramaty High-Energy Spectroscopic Imager) satellite. This method has model dependencies different from those present in traditional observations at optical wavelengths, which depend upon detailed modeling involving radiative transfer in a m...
متن کاملSolar ultraviolet radiation in a changing climate
The projected large increases in damaging ultraviolet radiation as a result of global emissions of ozonedepleting substances have been forestalled by the success of the Montreal Protocol. New challenges are now arising in relation to climate change. We highlight the complex interactions between the drivers of climate change and those of stratospheric ozone depletion, and the positive and negati...
